Former Toronto FC midfielder Tsubasa Endoh is undergoing treatment method in his native Japan for acute leukemia.
In social media posts on his confirmed accounts, the 29-yr-aged from Tokyo stated he was diagnosed Dec. 2.
“I was honestly shocked at first and it was truly tricky to take the complete condition,” he wrote.
Endoh explained he has presently started chemotherapy sessions.
“It’s gonna be a hell of a journey and it is absolutely the most difficult instant in my life, but I’m established to combat this and occur back more powerful than ever,” he extra.
His announcement drew messages of aid from the MLS club and a number of former teammates.
Toronto took the previous Japanese youth global in the 1st round, ninth over-all, out of the University of Maryland in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.
